Mission Statement:
Our mission is to provide quality tutoring that supports each student's learning needs and empowers the student to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. As current elementary school educators we understand the obstacles the students are currently facing during these difficult times.
Learning has taken a step in a new direction where students and families are expected to adapt to the new norm of virtual learning. We will provide quality tutoring with a focus on specific grade level standards. Our mission is to establish a fun child centered learning experience. That will enhance their confidence in academics.
About The Founders:
Our program is based on a joint effort to provide additional support to students. The educators in this program are Carmen Perla and Kissairys Peralta. Our team is devoted to student success. Ms. Perla is a Mastered level Special Education/ General Education Teacher. She graduated from Monroe college with her B.A and Metropolitan College Of New York with her Dual Masters. Ms. Peralta attended Mercy College where she received her B.S in Behavioral Science and Masters in Childhood Education. These teachers have worked in various establishments to ensure equality and fairness. Combined they share over 10 years of teaching experience, working alongside students and their families.
The rising Scholars strive to:

Curriculum:
We understand that childrens developmental needs are essential to creating a balanced curriculum where they can succeed and grow. Therefore our curriculum focuses on the important skills students need to master at their current grade level. Our lessons will include Phonics, Reading Comprehension, mathematics and critical thinking skills.
